I was born and raised in Italy in a small town in the Marche region. After graduating in Foreign Languages (English and French), I decided to move to the UK, where I have been living for almost seven years. In fact, I have always loved languages with a keen interest in English in particular. I still remember that I was so excited when I learned my very first word: “yellow”. What was your first Italian word? What will it be? I am curious to find out! While living in the UK, I have had different jobs: I worked as a customer service advisor, waitress and public service interpreter. These jobs helped me to realise that I really enjoyed helping people communicate effectively and learn about their backgrounds. After volunteering to teach for a few months, I decided to study to become a professional teacher and do this job for a living. I have found that I have a real passion for teaching and have never regretted this decision. I now work as an online Italian teacher full-time.
