I am patient, kind, understanding, a perfectionist and I always strive to do my best. English is the most prominent language since our education system is mostly based on it. Most people struggle with other languages and I would like to assist as I myself did English as a first additional language and Afrikaans as a second additional language. Helping other people with my language can help break the cultural and language barriers currently affecting the society that we leave these days.

I have been tutoring my classmates and friends informally since my high school years. Somehow I have always been drawn to tutoring. In 2017 I decided to start an after school program. Noticing how much I enjoyed tutoring, I decided to formalize my calling. In 2018 enrolled for a Bachelor of Education at unisa so I give professional lesson. Each lesson takes one hour, it can be online or an individual lesson or a group of about twenty. Lesson can be one on one or in groups. It's quite easy to learn isiXhosa, one just has to be open to learning it. The easiest and quickest way to learn isiXhosa is by surrounding yourself with people who only speak isiXhosa.

I am a student at Rhodes University, looking forward to finishing my degree. I’m am eager to learn and teach others the information I do absorb. My home language Xhosa is relatively easy to learn, that’s explains why I have a Xhosa distinction in my matric. Xhosa is very enjoyable and fun to articulate, don’t worry about the plentiful cliques, you’ll learn to enjoy pronouncing them. Learning Xhosa can take quite some time, depending on how deep you want to go, but I’m looking forward to being there to help you grasp the language every step of the way. Ndibamba ngazibini kuwe ngokundiboleka iindlebe - thank you!

TUTOROO is a website that connects you with private, in-person language tutors. We now work with 165,000 tutors in more than 150 cities. We match genuine native speakers with people who want to enhance their conversational skills in any language at their preferred place and time.
The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
