But usually, I will use books you can get from Kinokuniya. - Teaching materials: JLPT books (N5-N2), summarized notes, and other activities such as online news, talk shows, and teaching videos. When contacting me, please let me know: - about yourself (how old are you, where are you from, where do you stay) - what are you keen to learn (your purpose and goals of learning Japanese. eg. for business/ interest/ taking exams/ moving to Japan) *Please let me know if you would like to have online classes. 😊 Also, please take note that I only teach at a mutual place between the two of us (eg. Cafes) and not at the student's place (only for kids will be home tuition). I do offer online lessons via Zoom too so feel free to let me know if you would like to have online lessons! A native certified teacher for private & group students!. Living in Singapore for 27 years. Equipped and ready to offer interactive on and offline lessons. Having been managing several businesses in Malaysia and Singapore, lingos and expressions in the fields such as financing, accounting, sales, and marketing can be taught in Japanese together with business skills. I am also a Singapore Government (MOM) certified recruitment officer helping many students of mine to get new careers. My language tuition is based on the certified 420 hours of training in Japan accompanied by the native level English language explanation. Students of mine are from range of 4 to 58-year-old, including such a student as JLPT-1-level business Manager (helped her to re-write resume and simulate the job interviews), a Director of a company who is preparing to extend business in Japan (even helping the recruitment of the Japan national staffs), a few students with autism. Lessons can be conversational-centric, written-centric, or even both, based on your desired outcome and goal. The firstest record of passing the JLPT-1 was of the students who studied for a year (134hrs) from zero knowledge of the Japanese language. For private tuition, the rate is ranging $80-100/hour. The lesson duration is between 1.5-2 hours. If you are learning with friends, colleagues, or family members in the group. $100/hr - for 2 persons ($50 each), $120/hr - for 3 persons ($40 each), and $130/hr - for 4 ($32.5 each).

Lessons ONLINE only Hi! My name is Ming, and I am currently in university. I took Japanese as a subject since Secondary 1 as well as H2 Japanese in JC. Since I am considering Japan-related careers in the future, I would like to teach beginner/intermediate-level Japanese to keep in touch with my language skills. In terms of qualifications, I received the LEP (Language Elective Programme) Pre-U scholarship from the Ministry of Education and obtained a JLPT N2 pass last year. I received an A grade for my H2 Japanese Preliminary exams and a B grade in my A Level examinations. I have participated in two immersion trips to Japan as well as several local immersions with the Japanese schools in Singapore. I have also taken part in a student-initiated VIA project to teach beginner-level Japanese to disadvantaged local children by partnering with the CDAC. I am willing to offer reasonable prices, flexible scheduling and online lessons in light of the current pandemic. If you have no/little prior experience learning Japanese and would like someone to guide you through the basics (writing systems, simple conversations, common vocabulary etc.), I may just be the right tutor for you :) Thank you!

Hi, I'm Kaoru, a Native Japanese who’ve lived in Japan (6 years), America (4 years) and Singapore (14 years). Both my Japanese and English is at the native level since I’ve been speaking both languages ever since young. My highest Japanese Language Certification is JLPT N1 and for English, I've studied at the National University of Singapore (NUS) so I hope that’s enough to show my command of the language. I have previously taught students preparing for O Level Japanese, Japanese Language Proficiency Exam N5 & N2, as well as Pure conversational Japanese to beginners . My strength lies in the fact that I have gone through Singapore's MOE Language Center education system as well as sitting for the JLPT myself. Thus, I know the content and the format first hand so I'm confident in guiding you through the syllabus! Japanese is an easy language to learn and it would take a good effort before you are comfortable with it. My recommended form of learning Japanese is through watching Anime and Manga! I hope to meet you soon!

I started studying Japanese since I was 13 years old. Ever since then, Japanese has been a big part of my life, from Secondary School to Junior College and I also studied at a university in Tokyo, where I spent 5 years in. I have 6 years of experience teaching beginner ~ intermediate Japanese to children. I have also taught English to Japanese. If you're motivated, I'm sure time is not a factor in picking up this language. Knowledge in Chinese will help you greatly. I'm willing to develop new teaching styles to suit my students, according to their needs. I'm open to online lessons too.

And I got some help by native speakers when I was in overseas so I thought now it’s my turn to help you lean some Japanese! Feel free to ask me anything, I would love to help you as much as I can :) I can’t wait to teach you Japanese and share some Japanese culture too!

The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
"I've studied with a native tutor for two months because I'm traveling this week. These classes helped me a lot! I loved TUTOROO and am already recommending it to my friends."
- Mark Bariche
"I found the perfect tutor for me, I became able to speak in another language and enjoyed meeting new people from other cultures. I've improved my language skills, without traveling abroad. Thanks TUTOROO!"
