Hi! My name is Benjamin, but most people call me Ben. I am almost done with a minor in Japanese Language Studies at NUS (National University of Singapore) and have passed the N3 JLPT Exam. Because I usually stay in Japan for around 5-6 months ever year, I am able to teach Japanese that is more colloquial in a way that is easy for native English speakers to learn.
For the past few years, I have been giving Japanese lessons to my friends in my free time and I can teach Beginner/ Intermediate Japanese (N5-N4). online classes are preferred, but I am open to 2 hour physical classes. Looking forward to hearing from you! よろしくお願いします!
I think the best way to learn any language is to make friends and to immerse yourself in that language. In Singapore, the best way would be to make Japanese friends, listen to Japanese music, watch Japanese Dramas or Anime as well as to learn the vocabulary and grammar from books and from teachers
I think that it is actually quite easy to learn Japanese in Singapore now, due to technology being so efficient, we are able to access classes, information and make friends with Japanese people online. This allows people living in SIngapore to still be able to immerse themselves with the Japanese language and culture
