I train people in fluent Swedish speech online, from any level, preferably mother tongue English (but others also possible, if your English is enough so we can talk). Classes are individual and therefore very flexible, one can choose time and class duration according to their demands. Normally it takes about 3 months for a person to start talking from scratch with a schedule of 2 regular classes a week. Material is selected individually for every student. Myself I've spent my childhood in Sweden, did my MA and PhD at Örebro University, 2006 and 2012, therefore I am almost a native speaker. I've been teaching Swedish to adults for more then 10 years now. Currently I reside in the countryside so I do not give any live lessons, all of my classes are online and class material is in electronic form. Looking forward our cooperation!

I was born and raised in Sweden and am bilingual as most Swedish people are. I lived most of my adult life in Seoul and speak Korean. Although we don’t use Korean in class, it helps me to guide you through difficulties. I have thought both Swedish and English extensively to executives, and students. My teaching style is focused on making the language truly yours. We work on really understanding and actively using the building blocks of the language so that you can easily and effortlessly express yourself and anything you would like to explain, even if you are missing some vocabulary.

My family moved to Sweden when I was 4 years old and I grew up in Falkenberg, a small town on the western coast of Sweden. To study in University, I moved to Helsingborg and studied through Lund University. I personally speak three languages fluently and believe that the best way to learn a language is to have casual conversations. I grew up learning Swedish myself and experienced my parents trying to learn, so I do understand many of the difficulties in trying to learn this language. I‘d be happy to help anyone who’d like to polish their Swedish language!

(ONLINE LESSONS ONLY) Hi everyone I offer classes in my native language, Swedish. I have lived in Barcelona for 2 years now so I can also speak Spanish decently. I have lived in USA for one year and England for 4 years so my English is almost as good as my Swedish. I am interested in learning languages and I am currently studying Spanish at home to increase my vocabulary. I want to teach Swedish mainly through conversation and focus less on grammar initially. This is a good way to learn and get used to the sounds of Swedish I believe. I have also done the TEFL course in Barcelona, a course for teaching English to foreigners.

Hello there! Do you want to learn Swedish with a patient, bubbly, motivating and positive coach that can help you reach your goals fast? Then I am here for you! My name is Carin from Sweden. I am 21 years old and have been working with teaching and coaching at five-star hotels and online. Do you think learning a language is hard? GOOD! We all been there, and so have I. Because I would love to teach you my secret tips and tricks on how to make the learning process faster, easier and more fun. Studying both French, Spanish and English in addition to Swedish, my mother tongue, I know what studying a new language can be like. But the good news is this: There is nothing that makes it more fun and easy than to practice with someone that speaks fluently! Trust me, I have been there. Beside teaching languages, I am currently studying at Lund University, and before that I used to be working as a Segway tour guide: teaching people how to use Segways and showing them around in Brisbane city, which I also love to do! Furthermore I love dancing, photographing, camping, adventures and - dare I say, to make people smile. If you are serious about wanting to learn Swedish - contact me now and we can get started! // Carin

Hi! I have just moved from Stockholm to London and as I am here, why not teaching others some Swedish? I have been working with children and young adults (dance/tutoring) and I would like to keep on doing it as I like to see how students develop during the process of becoming better in what they like. I have a bachelor's degree in Social-Political Analytics that I would like to explore with. More about me is that I love to travel and I love food. I am very open to learning about new cultures as I am very interested in people in general!

ONLINE LESSONS ONLY Hello, my name is Marcel, I'm a native Swede who grew up in a bilingual home. I have done some tutoring before for HP(the Swedish equivalent of SAT) and am not interested in doing some Swedish tutoring generally. I'm a flexible person who understands people learn differently and have different goals and methods. I would be available both for more casual sessions and more structured. We can use your material or I could find something on your level. I could also just listen and read your work and correct it. As for the frequently asked questions, whether it is an easy language to learn or not and the best method and time to do so is very subjective. But for an English speaker, it is considered to be one of the easier ones. We do share a lot of words. As for "how long" it takes to learn, you will probably always be learning and the time to get proficient enough to get by would vary a lot. I'm ready to put as many hours in as you need once we are past the 2-week trial. I will not accept more than 1 class per week for this introduction.

Native Swedish speaker living in Barcelona for a year, fluent in Swedish, English, Russian, and intermediate Spanish. Social and pedagogic. I have experience studying for a master's degree at Stockholm and Barcelona University. I also have experience studying in Russian classes, giving me a perspective of what learning a new language is like. Swedish is not the most difficult language to learn, in particular, if you already know English as the grammar is similar, German also helps. I have a unique perspective on how it is, as one of my parents is not Swedish, and learned the language as an adult.

Hello! My name is Jonna and I am excited to help you learn Swedish. With a degree in English Studies, I have a strong understanding of grammar, language structure, and the intricacies of building languages. This academic background has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to teach language effectively, ensuring that my students not only learn but also understand the foundation behind Swedish. I have honed my teaching skills by working as a nanny in New York and London, where I assisted children with homework and language learning. This experience strengthened my ability to explain concepts in a clear and engaging way. Additionally, my partner is from England and I have taught him Swedish and he can now speak confidently and get by with ease in everyday life. This personal experience has given me an unique insight into the challenges and rewards of learning Swedish, which I will bring into my teaching. Before we get started with actual lessons, I am more than happy to discuss your goals and current level of Swedish and together design an approach unique to your needs. So, whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your Swedish, I am sure we will have a fun time together!
