Private Swedish Tutor in Barcelona and Online
(ONLINE LESSONS ONLY) Hi everyone I offer classes in my native language, Swedish. I have lived in Barcelona for 2 years now so I can also speak Spanish decently. I have lived in USA for one year and England for 4 years so my English is almost as good as my Swedish. I am interested in learning languages and I am currently studying Spanish at home to increase my vocabulary. I want to teach Swedish mainly through conversation and focus less on grammar initially. This is a good way to learn and get used to the sounds of Swedish I believe. I have also done the TEFL course in Barcelona, a course for teaching English to foreigners.

How easy is it to learn Swedish in Barcelona?
Fairly easy if you put the effort in. It´s also good to know a bit of English because the grammar structure is quite similar in English and Swedish.
Is it difficult to learn Swedish in Barcelona?
No. Even though Spanish/Catalan comes from a different language tree than Swedish, one can learn quickly by studying and reading in Swedish. The way I study Spanish is by reading a book in Spanish and using a dictionary to look up the words that I don´t know. This method can be used to learn any language once you know the basics, I believe. Watching
Swedish movies also helps with learning the sounds of Swedish.
