I am a dedicated and experienced Tamil language tutor with 17 years of teaching experience at the primary level. My passion lies in making the Tamil language accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for all students, regardless of their background or proficiency level. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students from diverse language backgrounds, including many non-Tamil speaking pupils such as Iban and Chinese students. I understand the challenges they face and have developed effective strategies to help them overcome reading and pronunciation difficulties. One of the most effective approaches I use is the picture phonics method, where I combine visual aids with phonetic sounds to make Tamil words easier to recognize and pronounce.
