I am a Swahili teacher because the language is part of who I am. Kiswahili has shaped the way I communicate, think, and connect with others, and teaching it allows me to share that identity with people from different backgrounds. My journey as a Swahili teacher has shown me that language learning goes far beyond grammar rules and vocabulary lists.
