Swahili is the most widely spoken language in Kenya and Tanzania. It is also used in parts of Uganda, Rwanda, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Madagascar. For a Spanish speaker, Swahili pronunciation is easy. The rules of the language are easy to understand and remember. Learning Swahili with me will be easy because I am Kenyan and bilingual, my mother tongues are Swahili and English. Currently, my level in Spanish and Catalan is A1, and I am still studying to improve my level in these two languages. I have no experience in teaching Swahili but I can do it by applying the same methods I am using to learn these two languages. I do not do language exchanges. I am available on weekdays from 7 pm to 9 pm and on weekends. I can give classes at my home or I can travel around the Barcelona area. Come and learn Swahili, the most fashionable language in Africa.

As stated in the title I am patiently optimistic when it comes to teaching languages as I understand it takes time and can get tricky. I have no previous experience tutoring Swahili but I do have experience tutoring English therefore, if I apply similar techniques I am sure I can make learning Swahili fun and easy! I am flexible for tutoring during the week after 2pm as I have university classes between 10-14pm. I am also flexible when it comes to the location of the lessons. All in all I am very willing to cooperative with anyone interested in taking this journey to learn Swahili.
