For two years I have been teaching adults and children foreign languages. As a relevant experience, I worked with a family of immigrants who came to Russia, Moscow from the USA, and Chicago. I taught their children Russian for 1 year. It was an incredible time for both sides as we not only studied the language, but also cooked Russian dishes together, studied traditions, played Russian games, watched Russian films, and discussed them. Generally, we went through a lot of interesting things in order to immerse them in Russian culture entirely. Some info about me: at the moment I am finishing my master's in Consultancy & Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam Business School. My strengths are creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills. My abilities allow me to motivate people and inspire them! I have a lot of energy and I spread a positive vibe around me. Hello, my name is Diana. I don't have a philological education, but instead, I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy (five years of reading and writing!), which I learned back home in Russian. I've always liked dealing with the language and people say I have a good feel of it. Plus, unlike most people without professional linguistic education - I remember the rules and can explain them. Moreover, I like to explain! I think I can feel the pain of learning something new and seemingly inscrutable, and it makes it easy for me to be patient and have an individual approach to the person in front of me. My only "real" experience of teaching is private lessons of music for kids. But I often help my friends with language issues and have an experience of helping an English-speaking friend in learning Russian. I've always wanted to try more teaching, and maybe now is the right time. I don't have a structured course of Russian in my head, but I can definitely be a help if you need to deepen your skills and clarify grammatical and semantic mysteries.
