Hello, my name is Diana. I don't have a philological education, but instead, I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy (five years of reading and writing!), which I learned back home in Russian.
I've always liked dealing with the language and people say I have a good feel of it. Plus, unlike most people without professional linguistic education - I remember the rules and can explain them.
Moreover, I like to explain! I think I can feel the pain of learning something new and seemingly inscrutable, and it makes it easy for me to be patient and have an individual approach to the person in front of me.
My only "real" experience of teaching is private lessons of music for kids. But I often help my friends with language issues and have an experience of helping an English-speaking friend in learning Russian.
I've always wanted to try more teaching, and maybe now is the right time. I don't have a structured course of Russian in my head, but I can definitely be a help if you need to deepen your skills and clarify grammatical and semantic mysteries. Or need any advice, explanation, or guidance in working with some existent course/textbook. Or just have a conversation, if this is what you need.
I'm open to any kind of teaching-learning experience. Let's meet and help each other!
Not the easiest path, but fascinating!
Definitely, not easy, but still amazing!
