I'm Yuni from Seoul in Korea and study art in London. I took a private language exchange class to improve my English in Korea, and I am continuing to meet with new language exchange friends to help them who are interested in Korea in the UK. So I realized that conversation is the most effective way to learn a language, knowing what the students want more than anyone else. Our lesson will be conducted on a conversation system according to student's interests and desired topics. I will help you to find errors and point out useful words or expressions and review them again at the end of the class. Also, I think students have to know the culture of the country to learn a language, so I want to tell you anything that you are curious about Korean culture (K-pop drama film performance art food, etc.). Contact me, if you are interested in Korea.

Hello, I'm Leah from Korea. Actually, my real name is Bokyoung KWON. However, my name is difficult to pronounce for some people so I will use it as “Leah” here. I worked as a vocal teacher, and musician in Korea. I worked as a teacher for a long time. One day, I decided to go on a journey of my life because I wanted to experience more and express it through music. So my journey started in New Zealand, then Australia, France, Switzerland and now the UK. I have always dreamed of teaching Korean based on my experience as a music teacher, And I thought this was an opportunity to make it come true, so I applied right away. I have a teaching certificate. (This is in Korean, so English is needed) I haven't given any professional lectures on Korean yet, but I have given many free lectures to people around me. From my experience learning many languages, the most important thing about languages is not to lose interest. I think it is my role to help with that. The focus of my lectures is basic and intonation. Thank you for taking your time to read. Best regards,

Hi! I am a first-year student studying BSc in International Relations at the LSE. I have experience in teaching in both Korean and English through school and tutoring. My favourite way of teaching is through building a genuine relationship with my students and identifying their individual goals. By now, I'm sure that you have picked up some frequent words and slang from songs and dramas. This goes to show that Korean is not a difficult language to learn: there is an alphabet, there are no tones, and it is incredibly scientific. I'm here to help build the fundamental base that will uphold your understanding.
