I live in Melbourne and am fluent in both English and Persian. I have been teaching my native language for 6 years now not because I am a native speaker but because I know how to teach it! It's not enough to be a native to teach your own language as you need to know structure of the language very well first and second have a teaching method to understand how people from other backgrounds can learn it easier. Language sounds like a building which words are its bricks and grammar acts like mortar which sticks those bricks together. I won't try to teach you too much about bricks (which you need to learn yourself anyway in your language journey) but I teach you how to quickly stick those bricks together and build your own building! I prefer teaching in a group as you will have this opportunity to practise with others and see others mistakes as well as yours :) so our class will be online or alternatively face to face in East Doncaster College if you live here in Melbourne.
