Hi, I am a native Persian speaker living in Melbourne. I am a passionate Farsi tutor with experience teaching both adults and children. I hold a Master of Applied Linguistics, as well as a certificate from the Saadi Foundation in teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers. At the moment, I offer online lessons and work exclusively with adult learners.

If you are keen to learn Farsi/Persian, please send me a message — it will be fun! I will teach you using the latest Persian language learning textbooks and methods. We will also explore Persian poetry and the rich tradition of Persian literature together.

Helia is fantastic. She's patient, kind and goes into good detail in our lessons regarding what we're learning and why certain things are important. There's so much to learn but with Helia it's not as daunting and it's fun.

Helia is a really great and patient tutor. We have writing, reading, listening and conversational exercises. I cannot recommend her enough! She is consistent and will send through class notes/ home work to work on for your next class. If you are seriously interested in learning Farsi, Helia is the best tutor.

Helia is an experienced language teacher, fluent in English and Farsi, and very good at explaining the reasons why Farsi says things differently from English.
