Private Urdu tutor in Seoul

Teacher joined in Jul, 2025

Asalam o Alaikum. I am Ashar Mahmood. I am a native urdu speaker and i am an Engineer and Public Servant. You can enjoy studying Urdu with me. I taught Engineering in some Private University in Pakistan and can teach Urdu as well. Urdu is a beautiful and expressive language with deep cultural, poetic, and historical significance. It originated in the Indian subcontinent during the 12th century as a result of cultural interactions among Persian, Arabic, Turkish, and local Indian languages. It developed as a lingua franca for diverse communities and later flourished under the Mughal Empire. Urdu is written in a modified Persian-Arabic script called Nastaʿlīq, known for its elegance and artistic form. It shares much of its vocabulary with Persian and Arabic, though it also includes words from Turkish, Sanskrit, and English. It is the national language of Pakistan and is also widely spoken in India, especially in states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Urdu is known for its rich literary tradition, especially in poetry. Great poets like Mir Taqi Mir, Mirza Ghalib, Allama Iqbal, and Faiz Ahmed Faiz have elevated it to a high cultural status. Urdu ghazals and nazms are admired across South Asia for their emotional depth and lyrical beauty. Today, Urdu continues to evolve, with media, film, music, and digital communication keeping it alive among younger generations. It remains a symbol of cultural identity, refinement (tehzeeb), and deep emotional expression.

The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
