Born in the fast-paced, vibrant Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam and have won various national awards for literature competitions, I am well-equipped with the ability to deliver Vietnamese in engaging lessons. The most efficient way to learn Vietnamese is to practice speaking, and since it is a tonal language, the student’s success will greatly depend on the tutor’s pronunciation and accent. Vietnamese is easy to learn if you pay attention to the minor details in regard to how the language works and figure out general rules for grammar, writing, listening, speaking. It is at times tricky, but with determination and good guidance, learning to speak Vietnamese well is totally attainable.

My objective is to teach you how to speak the language naturally like a true native, so absolutely no rigid textbook phrases or one-size-fits-all memorisation! I understand the challenge of taking up a new language, having learned two languages from scratch myself (English and Japanese), and am determined to help you achieve Vietnamese proficiency.
