I am an award-winning MOE educator with many years of teaching experience in Singapore schools. My work as an educator has been recognised for my commitment to teaching and for using creative and engaging approaches to help students learn.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different abilities and learning needs. I am particularly experienced in supporting students who need more guidance, encouragement and step-by-step scaffolding. I believe that a child who struggles academically does not necessarily lack ability; sometimes, the child simply needs concepts to be taught differently.

My lessons are therefore structured, interactive and student-friendly. I use visuals, games, technology, memory strategies, differentiated worksheets and real-life examples to make difficult concepts easier to understand. I also break tasks into smaller steps so that students can experience success and gradually become more confident and independent.

Beyond academic results, I place great importance on building a positive relationship with my students. I am patient and encouraging while maintaining clear expectations. I take time to understand each child's strengths and learning gaps and adapt my teaching accordingly.

As an experienced educator, I have also designed curriculum resources, developed differentiated learning materials, and incorporated educational technology and AI-supported tools into teaching and learning.

My goal as a tutor is not simply to prepare a student for the next test. I hope to help each child understand better, learn with confidence, and develop strategies that they can continue using independently.
