When I was young, I was always an average student in academics. Until I developed the habit of curating methods to make learning and understanding easier for myself. Throughout my years of education, these methods allowed me to have a deeper understanding of my subject matters and ultimately got me into the National University of Singapore (NUS). There I furthered my desire to improve my language and writing skills by majoring in Communications. Having curated these simple yet fun methods of learning for myself, I enjoyed sharing with people around me and started private tutoring since. I have also taught English at prestigious schools such as Swiss Cottage Secondary School and Princess Elizabeth Primary School. I am equally good at my Mother Tongue, Tamil as I am in English and have been tutoring for more than 10 years now. I also have the experience of relief teaching Tamil Language and Higher Tamil at Jurong West Secondary School. So I am well aware of the secondary syllabus. My private students include students from Primary school, Secondary school, IP, and IB programs. I have taken at least 1 student for O-level English each year, in the past years and all of them have improved their grades tremendously. The past two students from Bt Panjang Govt High have gotten an A1 at O Level from a C5. In the past year, I have taught JC GP and Tamil to JC1 students, who have improved from D's and C's to B's in 3 months.
