I am a Singaporean student currently studying in the UK doing medicine. I was born in Tamilnadu and have won many tamil competitions in school. I also pursued Tamil Language and Literature in the Singapore-Cambridge A levels and scored a perfect score. Learning Tamil may definitely be a challenge at first but there are many techniques that can easily aid the process (learning grammar rules, getting exposed to various daily use vocabulary and a lot of practice!) I believe the easiest way to learn a language is not through memorising but conversing with other tamil people atleast once in two days!
