I live in Athens, I am an employee in the public sector and my hobby is to read Greek history. The last few years I have been trying to discover the Greek language finding the roots of Greek words. One year ago I started giving Greek lessons to a friend of mine who lives in Wales. I loved helping him improve his knowledge and this made me more engaged in teaching Greek language. Now I have three students who are really satisfied and I decided to expand the network of my students. I like talking Greek from the first lesson in a way that students do not meet comprehnesion issues. It is not easy to learn Greek but the secret on that is to not scare the students and disappoint them. The lessons must be done in a way that the students will believe to theirselves and acquire self-confidence. This needs patience from the tutor, faith and love for the work he does. If the student believes the tutor then everything will be easier. If someone wants to learn Greek needs about two years. Of course, someone needs less time if he wants to learn only to speak Greek
