Hi! I'm a master's student in Applied Linguistics and a Farsi/Persian native speaker. I am also a passionate Farsi/Persian tutor with experience teaching adults.
I also have a certificate from Saadi Foundation in teaching Persian to non-Persian speakers.
Currently I mainly teach online.
I will teach you based on the textbooks of the most recent Persian language learning methods. Furthermore we will explore Persian poetry and the very rich Persian literature, also we will listen to and sing some Persian songs together :)

Helia is an outstanding tutor, I’ve been enjoying learning Farsi with her. Her lessons are very well structured and her way of teaching is very effective through explanation of the grammar and really clever examples on how to grasp different aspects of the language, she also provides plenty of materials to complement the class teachings. She’s extremely patient and you can tell she’s passionate about teaching Farsi which makes me even more motivated to learn it. I highly recommend Helia if you are interested in learning such a beautiful language.

Helia is fantastic. She's patient, kind and goes into good detail in our lessons regarding what we're learning and why certain things are important. There's so much to learn but with Helia it's not as daunting and it's fun.

Helia is a really great and patient tutor. We have writing, reading, listening and conversational exercises. I cannot recommend her enough! She is consistent and will send through class notes/ home work to work on for your next class. If you are seriously interested in learning Farsi, Helia is the best tutor.

Helia is an experienced language teacher, fluent in English and Farsi, and very good at explaining the reasons why Farsi says things differently from English. She also provides historical and cultural background. And to top it off, she is an absolute delight and lovely, very encouraging and patient, while always professional and well organised.
