Private Turkish tutor in Lyon

Teacher joined in Jan, 2021

My name is Busra OZCAN. I was born in Ankara, TR and I live in Grenoble, FR. I hold degrees in both Industrial Design and Brand Communication. During my bachelor’s degree, I have studied Industrial Design at an engineering faculty by Erasmus Exchange Program. I have finished a master degree in Business Administration in 2020. In my master studies, I have mostly focused on marketing area, entrepreneurship and design research in companies. I strongly believe that these research interests are not separable and nurturing each other. In the light of my studies so far, I have decided to work on this relationship and now I am performing research on the relationship between new product performance, innovation capabilities, design and entrepreneur orientation. Furthermore, I have been giving talks on ‘interdisciplinary teamwork’ to university students. Besides my academical life, in 2018, I have founded my first startup company, Qwerty, for designing user-centered products, user interfaces, and most importantly, further development of a healthcare product “Lifecare” as the continuation of my graduation design project. This company and project was supported and funded by TUBITAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and we had collaborations with several companies for further development of both hardware and software. Moreover, I worked on the development of this product in Le Village Acceleration Center in Grenoble, FR in 2019. In quarantine period, I have also created a colorful and free space as my lasting dream by founding “Anthemis Design” on hand sculpted bespoke hair accessories and jewellery design. I have been qualified on many topics including project management strategy, creativity facilitation, digital transformation, and service & product design. I have carried out several researches on how to enhance the companies’ design processes and innovation capabilities. I use and implement human-centric design approaches to find effective and innovative solutions for businesses and real-world problems.

The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
