Hello, My Name is Miyuki. I am a qualified Japanese teacher and a non-fiction writer. I came to New Zealand twenty years ago with my husband and two daughters and I have worked as a teacher aide/counselor for international students at a high school in North Island for six years. While I have been away from New Zealand since 2007, I had taught Japanese in Indonesia and India to students of all levels before I came back to New Zealand in 2017 and I am teaching Japanese of ACE programm at a local high School in New Zealand at present. I am able to teach you Japanese, not only limited to daily conversation and basic Japanese language skill but for academic purposes following a curriculum towards Japanese Language Proficiency Test levels N5 to 1. Additionally, I will cater my unique teaching methodology to your personal requirements such as not only vocabulary learning but “tips of traveling in Japan” and even “Japanese home-style cooking classes in Japanese”. (For example, I use animation, Kamishibai (Storytelling with pictures), Origami and game for beginners, to daily life conversation and academic help for advanced students.) I am sure that your personal competency for cultural understanding, life values, and hospitality skills would be greatly improved by learning Japanese from me. Online lessons are also available. Looking forward to meeting you.

Learn Japanese online or offline with the best private Japanese tutors. Private Japanese lessons will be held by TUTOROO tutors directly and custom-made for your private learning needs. Learn Japanese effectively with the help of a native speaking Japanese tutor. Have fun learning a new language!
TUTOROO is a website that connects you with private, in-person language tutors. We now work with 165,000 tutors in more than 150 cities. We match genuine native speakers with people who want to enhance their conversational skills in any language at their preferred place and time.
The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
"I've studied with a native tutor for two months because I'm traveling this week. These classes helped me a lot! I loved TUTOROO and am already recommending it to my friends."
