I'm a 27 years old native Italian/Spanish speaker. I'm also pretty fluent in English, and I know German on an intermediate to advanced level. I love languages, and I grew up in the middle of this four languages since I was a little kid. My parents are Italian, but my stepmom is German, and I was born in Spain, and raised between Spain and italy. Italian and Spanish can be seen as difficult languages if looked at from an academic point of view, but at the end of the day, they are pretty easy to grasp on. Grammar rules can be tricky at times, and there are a fair amount of irregularities, but in my opinion, the key is to listen to native speakers, and practice, and once you have a basic grasp on the language, start learning grammar.
