Hello! My name is Francesca. I have recently graduated from my master's degree at the University of Oxford, where I studied Comparative Literature and Critical Translation. For my bachelor's degree, I studied at the University of Warwick where I received a first class BA in English and Italian literature. Being an Italian born in Switzerland (a multicultural and multilingual country), having studied in England and in Italy, and having lived in Portugal, different languages and cultures have always been an essential part of my daily life. Moreover, having studied multiple languages myself, I am particularly aware of the difficulties inherent in learning a foreign language. When teaching Italian, I shape my classes according to the students’ individual needs. I believe in enriching vocabulary and grammar lessons with little written tasks and oral conversations about Italian culture and current topics.
