I am a Master's Graduate in Public Health Nutrition and currently work as a Communication Officer for EU-funded projects. I was born and raised in Bologna, Italy, and travel-hopped for studies and work during my 20s, before settling in Brussels three years ago. I have quite some experience in teaching both Italian and English. My most intense years of teaching were in London where I provided individual classes to adults interested in learning the language for about 4 years. As a first step, I always do a preliminary assessment to understand: i what is the person's objectives, what is their level of Italian, and iii) their speed of learning so that I can prepare custom-made classes. Once in a while I also used to organize group meetings/reunions to allow people to have the possibility to speak in Italian with fellow students and to get an additional opportunity to practice.
