Hi, I am a native Indonesian who are currently studying master at NTUST, Taipei. I finished my bachelor study in Informatics on October 2020 at ITS, one of the biggest University in Indonesia. I have several experiences teaching Indonesian language to foreigners with one of the most recent is FBICC (Fun Bahasa Indonesia and Cultural Course) held by ITS International Office. Bahasa Indonesia is fairly easy to learn due to its phonetic characteristics. It also uses the normal common alphabets, so it will be familiar to most people. Most of the words in Bahasa Indonesia derives from other languages such as Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, English, etc. The easiest way to learn and familiarize yourself with Bahasa Indonesia is simply by involving it in your hobbies such as movies, or musics. Listening to some Indonesian musics or watching Indonesian mocies will definitely help.

My background education is in tourism department, besides travelling, I also love languages, and sharing and teaching other people to have interest in learning new language is interesting for me. For daily conversation level is not difficult but for sure there will be differentiate of pronunciation from your mother language way of speaking to Indonesian pronunciation , easiest way to learn Indonesian is to learn their slangs, and it's all up to how long do you practice per week to be able to understand and learn it.

Apa kabar? I hope we can learn more languages. Indonesian languages very easy to learn, because no need special character or special tones. In Indonesia have more languages, if you interested with language, I can teach you with funny ways. I disagree if learn language have a time limit, because language must repeatedly every single day and every moment you can slowly use that language for improving your vocabulary. Indonesian languages have deeply meaning, so you can find dan learn that with me. Many people think Indonesian language and Malaysia language is same, but that's not true. Actually Indonesian languages and Malaysia languages have a little same words but not same meaning. I think you should know this one, because if you misunderstanding it can be serious problem. But that is OK, I can give you many explanations about different between Indonesian languages and Malaysia languages.
