I spent four years teaching and assessing Indonesian military officers at the Air Force staff college in their own language. This included giving presentations, lectures and tutorials, assessing presentations and written work including up to 50,000 word papers. I have a Graduate Diploma of Languages in Indonesian. I have lived for over 8 years in Indonesia and am very comfortable with all levels of language from professional to social and slang. You will find basic Indonesian very easy to learn, and very quickly as it is a very new and structured language.
