My name is Benedict, I am a native speaker of Greek, as well as a linguist and Greek language specialist by profession, with doctoral studies on language, brain, and cognition. Teaching Greek is my passion. In my classes, I offer individualised teaching plans tailored to my students’ own needs, also including preparation for the official exams for the Certificate of Attainment in Greek. I use state-of-the-art textbooks that place COMMUNICATION in the centre of our learning goals, and I apply INTERACTIVE METHODS as the fundamental means to achieve these goals. What I regard as an advantage is that my approach to language diverts from old-fashioned philologist practices and effectively incorporates contemporary knowledge from linguistics, the scientific study of language.
