I believe the best way of learning Persian, especially for beginners, is to focus on the informal, spoken language. Hi! I’m an Iranian who grew up in England and is currently living and studying in Prague. I’m fluent in English and have previous experience teaching English to Iranian children (and to Russian children during an AIESEC internship). It would be my first time doing this the other way around but Persian is my native language and I’d love to teach you guys the beauties of it :) Persian grammar is pretty straightforward and easy to grasp and there aren’t many exceptions once you have the fundamentals down; however, it is an entirely new alphabet (unless you know Arabic) and learning to read and write in Farsi/Persian may take some time. If you’d prefer, we can focus on listening/speaking and learn the words phonetically.
