A good language teacher must be competent. This requires a lot of study on the part of the teacher. If you are a foreign language teacher, you must have mastered the language you are teaching and the skills it takes to teach that language. As an Arabic language teacher, you need to have a handle on the elements of Arabic as well as have a background in education. A good language teacher realizes there are several different learning methods. Some learn by hearing, some by seeing and some by speaking. Therefore, a good teacher will create a course that weaves together all of the various learning techniques. A good teacher is also willing to explore the different ways of teaching language

I'm a student and a traveler. I always had a passion for traveling and challenging my mindset with new experiences. My motivation to learn and explore led me to attend a language school after graduating from high school in Algeria, were prepared for the SAT exam. This allowed me to pursue my dream and travel to Turkey to continue my education. My interest in new cultures and travel guided me to an unforgettable Erasmus Internship at Trento University in Italy, a semester as an exchange student at the Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania, and a workplace traineeship in Paris, France. In addition to my international academic experiences, I spent time volunteering on WORKAWAY, and AIESEC, as well as some local organizations and student activities for a total of four years. In AIESEC exactly, I discovered my love to teach languages to other people. I had the chance to teach more than 400 students in my career in different languages (English, Turkish, and mainly Arabic). Dedicating time and energy to these activities has given me the opportunity to gain unique experiences and learn to adapt to and embrace challenges. They also developed me to be more independent and cultivated a hunger for new adventures.

I am an Egyptian volunteer abroad in Zagreb, with previous experience in teaching Arabic to foreigners for 2 years. I can teach Fosha (Formal) Arabic, or Egyptian Arabic which is used and understood often in many Arab countries. The lessons will be conducted in English because my Croatian is bad (so you can think of that as free English practice as well, why not). A little about me, I am very interested in music and theater. I love creative writing, history, and film making. I am not volunteering to learn more about non formal education techniques and I am hoping to apply some of them during our lessons if you're up for it.

I studied Mass communication. The Arabic language is my mother language as you see. Arabic is an amazing language to learn it has a different dialect it's dependent on which country you gonna visit or live but, but basic Arabic is the same. It's not easy when you start but when you start to know and understand you'll see how people and cultures are so interesting. I would love to teach you Arabic to know how our culture is big and beautiful. You need to know if you learn with interest you'll learn so fast.

For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
