I am an experienced teacher of Arabic to both youth and adult students. My methodology is based on frequency and understanding the underlying patterns of Arabic grammar. I use the textbook series Mastering Arabic by Jane Wightwick and Mahmoud Gaafar supplemented with a range of audiovisual and real-world material in order to connect directly to the interests and goals of my students. I have a Masters's degree from the University of Chicago and seven years of teaching experience. I currently teach both online and in-person classes. I teach both Modern Standard Arabic and the Levantine dialect. I can also help students who want to learn to read the Qur'an.
