Hi everyone, My name is Merita, 28. I am from Tirana (Albania) currently living and working in Prague, Czech Republic. I have finished my studies in Sociology. I held English conversations for seniors (and children) in the Czech Republic for a year, part of Erasmus+, and I would love to do that in my native language and help you out. I speak Albanian (native), English and conversational Czech. The best way to learn a language is to start talking and I will be here to support you. I enjoy very much meeting new people, I am friendly and always with a positive attitude. Thank you/Faleminderit.

I did my education in the Albanian language at the most prestigious University in Kosovo with outstanding results. The beauty of living in Kosovo is that it allows us to speak and write fluently in Toskë (Albanian dialect) and Gegë (Kosovo dialect). Hence, I can teach in both dialects, formal and informal Albanian. I used to work with elementary students which enables me to understand students memorising and learning patterns. Moreover, during my PhD studies, I taught in English subjects related to Marketing. Such experience has equipped me with the necessary skills to teach in a multicultural environment, with students from different age groups by combining formal and informal teaching techniques. Lastly, lessons in the Albanian language are gamified and learning material varies, are personalized and adjusted for each student. I look forward to work with you!

I am an environmental engineer, currently pursuing my master's in Prague, at the Czech university of life sciences. I am a very friendly and communicative person and also so funny :). Would be so happy to help other interested students learn some of my mother tongue, Albanian. In my free time, I like reading mostly, hanging out with friends, and swimming. My daily routine is shifting between studies, work, and the gym. Yes, I frequent the gym almost every day. Would love to make new friends from all around the world!

Hi guys, I’m super excited to take you on a journey that I would describe as both a challenge and an adventure of a lifetime. Born and raised in Albania, in the most historically and culturally rich city, Shkoder, I was blessed to be raised in a Gege speaking region, while studying in the Toske dialect (standard Albanian language). I haven’t always been the biggest fan of our 36 letter alphabet, ancient dialects passed through generations, and the infinite idioms and grammar rules. I loved learning other languages, and the more I invested in other cultures, the more I realized how incredibly amazing and literally priceless my own language and culture are. I have just graduated with my Master’s degree with honors in Technology and Management and decided to stay in this beautiful, beer-loving country. I do miss home, and it would be my greatest pleasure to talk to you in Albanian, both Toske and Gege. I’m proficient in English, and also know my way around Italian and Spanish. Currently learning Czech, so I’m sure we’ll have some common ground. I strive to make this learning experience also interesting and fun! Mire se te vini dhe faleminderit!

Learn with me the ancient, unique Albanian Language. I was born and raised in Albania/Tirana. During my university studies, I had the chance to teach Albanian to transfer students that were doing an exchange in my faculty. The experience was very entertaining. Just like any other language Albanian comes in formal and informal forms. I can teach both of them. I have a high level of proficiency in English but I can also communicate quite well in Italian and Spanish. I deliver both, face to face and online lessons.

TUTOROO is a website that connects you with private, in-person language tutors. We now work with 165,000 tutors in more than 150 cities. We match genuine native speakers with people who want to enhance their conversational skills in any language at their preferred place and time.
The most difficult part in learning a foreign language is the practice, which can be acquired only by conversing with a native speaker. For people willing to practice foreign languages, it is difficult to find a private language tutor who lives or works in their city. TUTOROO has been designed to provide a frictionless experience while connecting tutors to students, for private in-person language lessons.
