Over a decade ago, I started my Afrikaans teaching at the aftercare business I owned. What started as a helping hand for homework quickly turned into a passion, especially when I saw how much the kids’ Afrikaans marks shot up! Then came 2020, and like many of us, I started teaching online during the pandemic, and I’ve been tutoring virtually ever since! These days, I combine two of my favorite things: teaching and traveling. So whether I’m in a bustling city or a quiet beach town, I’m still connecting with students and helping them fall in love with Afrikaans.
