¡Hola! Soy Montserrat, profesora nativa de español, actualmente en el Reino Unido. I offer personalised GCSE and adult Spanish and English tuition, only online.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience in UK secondary schools. I hold a DBS check, a CET (Certificate in Teaching and Education and Training from Christchurch University), an ELE qualification, and CELTA certification from Cambridge. These qualifications have helped me develop a structured, supportive, and student-centred teaching approach.
I work with learners of different ages, abilities, and goals, including students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to suit individual learning styles, pace, and objectives.
My lessons are engaging, practical, and confidence-building. Whether you need support with GCSE Spanish, want to improve your conversational English, prepare for travel or work, or begin learning from scratch, I create clear and personalised lessons that help students progress step by step.
My passion for teaching began while working as a drama teacher in English at an international language school in Spain. That experience inspired me to develop creative learning materials and presentations, which later evolved into GCSE-focused resources. I now support teachers and students through my TES resource shop. I have also published four bilingual poetry books focused on human connection, feminine strength, and emotional growth.
I believe language learning should be motivating, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s needs. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, build confidence, and achieve their personal or academic goals in Spanish or English.
Feel free to book a first lesson or send me a message if you would like to discuss your learning goals.
Learning Spanish in London is both accessible and rewarding. With the support of an experienced native tutor, students can develop their language skills in a practical and enjoyable way. Whether your goal is travel, work, exams, or personal enrichment, consistent lessons can help you build confidence and achieve fluency step by step.
The time needed to learn Spanish depends on your goals, previous language experience, and how often you practise. Most beginners can hold basic conversations within 3–6 months of regular lessons, while achieving a confident intermediate level typically takes 1–2 years of consistent study. As a native Spanish tutor, I tailor lessons to each student's needs, helping them progress efficiently while building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
