Talk as much as possible and start learning sentences that will enable you to interact with the locals in common situations in everyday life. That could be ordering at a cafe or interacting with the staff when you are buying groceries.

It’s relative. I will say that it is easier than some other languages, due to fairly easy grammar.
Is it difficult to learn Norwegian in Oslo?
You definitely have an advantage if you are in the country, because it will make it easier to practice the language.
