Hi, I am Misako from Japan. I'm studying translation and interpreting at an Australian university for my Master's degree. I worked in Japan for about 10 years, and came to Australia last year. While I don't have much formal experience as a Japanese
teacher, I deeply understand the linguistic differences between Japanese and English as well as cultural differences. I registered as a tutor here because I was happy that my foreign friends were pleased when I taught them Japanese and corrected their mistakes. I can teach flexibly to suit your learning style.

How easy is it to learn Japanese in Brisbane?
For me, it is not easy to learn any foreign languages, but I believe that you can improve your Japanese if you get a nice tutor who can support and motivate you.
Is Japanese easy to learn?
I think Japanese is difficult especially for English speakers. For examples, the word order is different, and there are cultural concepts not found in English, so it might be a bit challenging. But I think understanding culture through language is really fun.
