Hi I’m Ai from Osaka, Japan.
I moved to Brisbane from Japan the beginning of 2022 for good.
I’ve been teaching high school students to adults past a few years.
I like to teach not only Japanese but also Japanese culture, politics, and local information as I travelled most of prefectures in Japan. (44 prefectures completed out of 47)
My Teaching Style

-Text book based lesson
A textbook I use is “Irodori”, but if you have your preferable text book, let me know.
- Free style (Just focus on grammar or N5 exam etc)
In our first lesson, I normally ask what you would like to get out of my tutoring and I coordinate a lesson depends on your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
How easy is it to learn Japanese in Brisbane?
I’m aware that there are not many Japanese living here comparing to Sydney and Melbourne.
However, there are some Japanese English language exchange groups and Japanese events in Brisbane. I believe if you join that kind of groups or events, it wont be hard to learn Japanese in Brisbane.
Is Japanese easy to learn?
I would not say it’s an easy language to learn especially if you are an English native speaker since the grammar and characters are different from English.
However, it also depends on what kind of skills you would like to get most.
Speaking (and pronunciation) is easy compare to other skills and writing is most difficult. (Trust me it’s even hard for a Japanese native speaker)
