Ciao! I’m Veronica, a native Italian teacher from Rome who loves teaching and learning new languages. I studied Languages and Cultural Mediation at the University of L’Aquila, earned a Master’s in Audiovisual Translation in Pisa, and a Master’s in Italian Language and Culture for Foreigners at the University of Bologna. I also had the chance to study abroad through two Erasmus programs in Spain, at the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of the Basque Country, and I completed a C1 General English Programme at University College Dublin in Ireland.

I’ve been teaching Italian for many years, both online and in-person, in Italy and abroad. Being a language learner myself, I know what it’s like to be on the student side. That’s why I focus on making lessons dynamic, interactive, and fun! I use games, role-play, songs, TV shows, novels, and real-life simulations to help students practice speaking confidently, and I always aim to create a supportive and motivating environment. Teaching isn’t just my job, it’s my passion, and I love sharing Italian language and culture with my students.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, reading, hiking, spending time with my pets, going to concerts, and, I admit, binge-watching zombie TV series!
