My name is Chris and I am a qualified language teacher. I have been teaching in four countries including Germany, the Philippines, the UK and Hong Kong. Besides my teaching qualifications, I hold an BSc in Economics as well as an MSc in Development Studies and have working experience in the development sector as well as a football coach in India and the UK. For me, education is not not merely about acquiring a language but fostering personal as well as overall societal development. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Is German easy to learn?
Depending on your commitment, German is definitely a language you can learn. It may, however, not be as easy as English and require a lot more effort.
How much time does it take to learn German in Hong Kong?
If you are willing to commit to regular classes, do your homework and expose yourself to German besides the classes through, e.g., YouTube channels, you can reach A2/B1 relatively quickly. However, if you intend to go beyond that, you will definitely need more time and, especially if you want to become fluent, it is highly commendable to actually live in that country for a while.
