Hello, I'm Rocille S. Masaganda, originally from San Roque Ibaba Calauag, Quezon. I recently turned 23 years old and I'm thrilled to say that I've just graduated from Southern Luzon State University with a Bachelor's degree in Technical Vocational Education, majoring in Computer Programming.
My passion for teaching and my deep love for our native language, Filipino, have inspired me to pursue a career as a Filipino teacher. There's something truly special about imparting knowledge, especially when it involves our own language and culture. I believe that by teaching our native tongue, I can help preserve and celebrate our rich heritage.
I consider myself a very positive and enthusiastic individual, and I'm known for being a dedicated and punctual worker. I genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others learn, and I'm eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to the teaching profession. Thank you for considering me for this opportunity, and I look forward to the chance to make a positive impact as a Filipino teacher.
In addition to my academic achievements, I've also had the privilege of gaining valuable experiences and recognition during my college years. I served as a FREELANCE TUTOR in General Education subjects from 2020 to 2021, which allowed me to develop my teaching skills and contribute to the academic growth of my peers.
Furthermore, in 2022-2023, I completed an ON-THE-JOB TRAINING at the Chairperson's Office as an Assistant/Encoder at Southern Luzon State University's Lucena Campus, where I honed my administrative and organizational abilities.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to serve as an intern/practice teacher at Lucena City National High School, where I had the privilege of applying my teaching knowledge and assisting students in their educational journey.
Lastly, I participated in the Special Program for Student Employment (SPES) at the Municipality of Calauag in 2021, further underscoring my commitment to both personal and community growth.
These experiences and awards have not only enriched my skills but have also deepened my passion for education and community involvement. I'm excited to bring this dedication and expertise to my role as a Filipino teacher and continue making a positive impact on those around me.
As an aspiring Filipino tutor, I bring a well-rounded approach to teaching the language. I understand the potential challenges students may face and am dedicated to helping them navigate their language-learning journey with effective strategies and unwavering support.
As a Filipino tutor, I recognize that learning the language varies in difficulty depending on a student's background. My approach combines immersion, structured courses, language apps, practice, and cultural exposure to make learning effective. Learning Filipino in Manila has advantages due to immersion but also some challenges like linguistic diversity. As a tutor, my role is to guide students through these nuances and provide tailored support to make the learning experience effective and rewarding.
The time required to become proficient may vary, but I am committed to supporting my students in reaching their language goals.
