I am a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Magna Cum Laude. I took the board exam last September and I am currently waiting for the result. I am used to talking with foreigners since I worked in a company where most employees are foreign. I am a very good communicator and with this being said, I am hoping to transfer this knowledge to someone. I am currently looking for someone I can help in terms of speaking Tagalog. Even waray-waray dialect, I can also help. Since I was born in Manila, I am a native Filipino speaker. Now that I am staying in Leyte, I have become fluent in Waray-waray dialect too. So if it happens that you want to learn to speak Filipino and you are planning to visit Tacloban, I am the best tutor for you. I am hoping I can help you soon. Thank you.
Since I am not in Manila, I will answer this from my own perspective. Learning a language for me has nothing to do with the location. Regardless of where you at, if your heart is with it ( which is to learn the language) you will definitely learn about it. I was born and raised in Manila but I learned English at the age of 7. For me, it is always easy to learn Filipino as long as there is someone to talk to you every day using this language. Communication and eagerness is the key.
As I have said, the easiest way is to have atleast one person to talk with everyday. Even just 3hours a day talking with this person, you will surely learn a lot.
