Hi there, I am allie. I’m a Singaporean and I speak English, Chinese and Japanese (JLPT N1). I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Psychology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
For those looking for English classes:
I am experienced in teaching English/Phonics using the Jolly Phonics program to preschool native children with special needs at an early intervention centre for 3 years in Singapore. I have also taught English to ESL (English as a Second Language) preschool, elementary and junior high school Japanese students in Japan.
For those looking for Japanese lessons:
I have a certificate in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT N1- highest level) and can teach beginner to intermediate Japanese using the Minna no Nihongo textbook. I have previously lived and worked in Japan for a few years. I communicated in Japanese and assisted in interpretation from Japanese to English and vice versa. Currently, I have a few students learning beginner Japanese from me. I am cheerful and friendly, and have a passion for helping others. Group tuition rates will be cheaper per person than private individual tuition rates. So feel free to enquire If you have friends/ family who would like to learn together, (or if in the same levels, join my other students and make a pair/ group).
