A lawyer by education and background, I am an experienced English language teacher with a Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA) from Cambridge, U.K. I have been teaching English to learners with different levels of proficiency, including primary and secondary school children, as well as adult learners of different nationalities.
For Primary and Secondary school children, I offer tailor-made lessons to focus on their specific needs (e.g., grammar/ comprehension/ writing skills). For ESL students, I focus on conversational fluency and pronunciation. I also help prepare students for IELTS/ TOEFL/ EIKEN exams and selective school assessments.
I have been a Public Speaking instructor for children for the past 4 years with Speech Academy Asia, and also have experience preparing children for Spoken English exams at Trinity College, London, in Singapore.

I have been fortunate to have lived in different countries with different cultures- India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Vietnam. I am fluent in English, Hindi, and Portuguese and I also have a working knowledge of 2 regional Indian languages.
During my time as an exchange student in Brazil, I also held English conversation classes at a local language school. While English can be a confusing language at times, esp. for new learners, it is also one of the simplest to pick up.
