I'm a certified community language teacher in Australia. I teach Cantonese and Mandarin at a Saturday school. I also teach Mandarin online to over 20 Chinese schools all over the world. I lived in Guangzhou for 25 years. I'm a native speaker of Mandarin and Cantonese. I've been living in Sydney for five years. I speak fluent English.

I hope that my students can develop from simple grammar, words, and phrases to knowledge extension, cultural development, and vision development.

Abby is the greatest tutor! I've always had issues with tutors in the past because I found the balance of discipline and fun hard to find. But Abby's classes are very structured and she does remind you (kindly) to do homework. She even finds Chinese videos related to interests of mine e.g meditation. I can see I've made improvements in my speaking and reading since I began. I would highly recommend her as a tutor, even if you are an adult looking to learn.
