Frequently Asked Questions
How easy is it to learn Chinese / Mandarin in Singapore?
There are a lot of Chinese in Singapore so I would say it’s not difficult to learn Chinese here. But due to the diverse culture in Singapore, it is relatively harder to learn Mandarin Chinese without adding some “Singlish” or dialect.
Is Chinese / Mandarin easy to learn?
I would say Chinese is not easy to learn in terms of writing. But listening and speaking are the relative easier ways to start learning Chinese. Language for me is just a tool for us to interact with different people.
