Filipina living in Melbourne. Born and raised in Melbourne. However I am fluent in my mother tongue - Tagalog I have spoken in it all my life with family and friends. It is as difficult to learn just like any other language you don’t speak but with determination and passion in learning it will make it easier. Others ways to learn tagalog is to watch tv shows or listening to music with help you broaden your filipino vocabulary. You have to articulate every letter, and make sure the way you say it is no different to how you hear it. Don’t add you current accent (American/Australia accent) otherwise it will affect how you speak in filipino.
