I am a native-speaking Dane living in Berlin. I can help you with your conversation in Danish or get you started in Danish. I'm already used to explaining the curiosity of Danish to my German partner. In my opinion, the speaking part of Danish is quite easy to learn, when you first have gotten the grip of some funny pronouncements of words. We don't use formal or informal speaking, except if you were to meet the Queen. The written part of Danish is more difficult, as there is a lot of strange pronouncement compared to how it's written.

Hi, I’m Danish and of course fluent in the language. In fact, I used to teach danish pupils in elementary school as well as working as a translator in Denmark. Danish is the language I feel most comfortable with and also the language I am best at. I speak four different languages: Danish, Vietnamese, English and Chinese. Feel free to let me know if you want to practice other languages also. Language and culture are areas I am very interested in. Hence, I hope I’ll try to make this learning enjoyable for you. Please chat with me if you have any questions and wish to confirm availability.

My name is Mette. I am a Danish Language teacher graduated from Aalborg University. I have over 10 years of extensive teaching experience as a language teacher delivering Danish classes to groups and individuals of varying skill levels. I have worked at companies such as Nokia, Copenhagen University, DTU, Sydbank, Dansk Røde Kors and for language schools such as AIS Sprog, BLS, FOF, Studieskolen. I have particularly strong knowledge of Danish grammar and pronunciation. I teach grammar as an important approach to understand and learn to use the Danish language and I teach pronunciation as the most important element of spoken Danish. A lot of people are interested in passing the language exams from the Danish state to get permission to stay in Denmark. I have good experience with taking people to the exams. Have a lovely day Mette

ATT: Only taking high profile customers. h/rate 600 DKK+ depending on student. Current and potentiel students include mainly people working in executive positions in highly acclaimed international businesses partially located in Denmark, as well as younger students, who come from highly disciplined and conscientious households. I am Isaac Macaulay, a 26-year-old Danish native teacher. I have more than 6 years of experience in teaching, and currently have more than 10+ students every week. I have a profound love for exchanging languages. When learning a language, I believe the most important thing is to be totally relaxed. We can often feel overwhelmed and even a bit embarrassed, because we don't know the right words to say. But as a foreign language learner myself I completely understand this. I will help you, welcome to Denmark!

Danish grammar is relatively easy, but pronunciation and spelling can be tricky. I can help you with all of this while we practice conversation. I am a very patient and supportive teacher, who will base the tuition on your needs and wishes. I speak Danish, English, and German, and also some Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. I have a good understanding of how it is to learn a language that is very different from your own. Learning languages has been a hobby for me for many years, and I have a lot of good ideas on how to quickly improve your level. I have helped several students pass their PD tests. We can meet online or in-person - or do a combination.

Hi! My name is Amalie and I am a native Dane with an international background. I have lived abroad for 14 years and have always attended American and International schools. I have since moved to Denmark and completed an IB diploma, where I studied three languages at a higher level (English, Danish, and French). I thereafter continued my studies in English and now have a bachelor's degree in Business, Language, and Culture from Copenhagen Business School. My Danish roots and international background has ultimately molded me into a confident native Danish and English speaker. I would love to put my linguistic skills to use and help others learn and practice either English or Danish - or both! I really look forward to working with you and hope I can help you along your learning journey.

:-) DANE, 40 y, LANGUAGE TEACHER w. degree (TESOL/ IELTS), and Cand.mag Humaniora, DK. I have recently returned to DK after spending a year abroad, TEACHING English in Krakow (ADULTS) and Bangkok (CHILDREN), I'm looking for EAGER STUDENTS to TUTOR in DANISH or ENGLISH, here on my home turf! As a trained language teacher, I "FEEL AT HOME IN" the vocabulary/grammar of DANISH, as well as ENGLISH (certification: IELTS Academic, English native speaker level), and I am used to preparing my own lesson plans/material... Are you looking to improve your EVERYDAY DANISH/ENGLISH? Or maybe WORK requires you to brush off your "BUSINESS vocabulary"?? Whether you are in need of DANISH LESSONS (looking to break the ice with the DANES? Yes, I know, hehe, we are a bit...), or you need help with your ENGLISH/ a TUTOR FOR YOUR CHILD? ...I'm your gal;-) I have WORK EXPERIENCE in both general/business language - given general business lessons in the form of ONE-ON-ONE/SAMLL GROUP lessons (f.ex., some corporate clients needed to improve their skills for some international CONFERENCE CALLS, others needed to look/sound sharp for oral PRESENTATIONS in their second language). I have tutored PRIVATE STUDENTS in CASUAL CONVERSATION LESSONS, where the GOAL might be to "break out of their shell", SPEAK & SOCIALIZE (in their second language) at FAMILY/FORMAL EVENTS, HOLIDAYS, or, daily talking with LOCALS/COLLEAGUES, etc...With me, you set YOUR OWN GOALS! When it comes to tutoring CHILDREN/YOUTH, I have experience from KINDERGARTEN - "Danish high school", and I have just returned from teaching PRIMARY 2 (7-8 y.) in Thailand, where I was their happy, English HOMEROOM TEACHER (all subjects). From Denmark, with DANISH STUDENTS, I have experience as a volunteer tutor at a Red Cross Youth Homework Café, students age 6-16 y, and I have had PRIVATE STUDENTS, EXAM PREPARATION for MIDTERM/FINAL EXAM, "Danish high school" (Gymnasium). My LESSON MATERIAL: READING TEXTS/newspaper art., PODCASTS, short VIDEOS (we can use headphones, for privacy/less noise). These materials can be used to train various skills, as well as make great CONVERSATION STARTERS. If you wish, we can also do WRITING exercises, mini TESTS, EXAM PREPARATION (TESOL/IELTS), etc. If you'd like some "homework", we can set that up too ;-);-)
