Hello, Kamusta ka?
I am Cha Cha from Leyte. I am a businesswoman and a part-time tutor. I have my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.
I choose Waray since there is no Tutor for this language, and more foreign people are also willing to know how to speak Waray but I can also teach Tagalog.
I used to work as a Farm Trainer and Registrar at a Farm School here in Leyte. Now, I would like to teach my native Language which is Waray but I can also teach Tagalog to people who are keen on learning it, may it be for basic daily conversation at home, or when you're travelling, shopping, buying groceries, ordering food, and many other things. I will guide you every step of the way to be able to understand the Waray/Filipino language a lot easier and express yourself in Waray/Filipino in a more natural way without having to use those deep Waray/Filipino words.
I do teaching online and meet-ups depending on the agreement. I encourage my students to talk a lot and learn through arts and entertainment, such as movies, telenovelas, books, plays, apps, and more. Don't worry; I'll guide you, and you can ask me anytime.
Yes, it is definitely not difficult to learn the Waray language in Visayas as long as you have a teacher who's willing to guide you, teach you and practice with you, using an easier method.
The time it takes to learn Waray varies depending on your dedication and practice. You can achieve basic conversational skills in one to two months with consistent effort.
