Merhaba! I am a Turkish language PhD student and tutor with over seven years of experience working with foreigners. I earned a master’s degree in Teaching Turkish to Foreigners from Hacettepe University and have taught over 5000 hours of private lessons to countless expats from all over the world, a number of whom were embassy employees. I scored a 98/100 on the Teaching Turkish to Foreigners certificate exam from the Yunus Emre Institute.
In addition to private lessons, I have experience working at the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish language school. The program is similar to TÖMER, but the curriculum places a greater emphasis on listening and speaking activities. I have also had the opportunity to teach refugees with the International Labour Organization.
Whether you want to meet in-person or online, I can help you learn Turkish through listening, speaking, writing and reading. My main goal is to teach Turkish with educational strategies that are modern and enjoyable.
